National Family Support and Restoration

About Us
As a registered Charity, the National Family Support and Restoration Society, carrying its services out as Cherub’s Inn, is a Mission-based charity that provides a safe place and loving start for pregnant young women who are without stable housing or meaningful support. Rooted in the Fraser Valley, our work responds to the urgent needs of vulnerable mothers and babies in our community.
Our vision is to “bring potential to life” by offering shelter, care, and opportunities for transformation through a multi-layered service model. Our mission is to provide holistic, trauma-informed support rooted in compassion, belonging, and dignity. We believe every woman deserves the chance to build a secure and hopeful future for herself and her baby.
We currently operate three interconnected branches: a Maternity House that provides up to 24 months of housing and wraparound care; a licensed Daycare that supports both resident families and local community members; and a planned Special Infant Nursery that will offer temporary care for babies whose mothers need additional time to stabilize before assuming full parental responsibility.
Cherub’s Inn was founded in 2020. Since the opening of our first service branch, the Cherub’s Inn Daycare, we have served many families from our community and now have little ones from our Maternity House while mom goes to work and/or school.
In 2024 Cherub’s Inn operationalized our Maternity House, and have supported young women navigating pregnancy, birth, and early parenting with no safety net.

Our Products
Cherub’s Inn has three distinct and interconnected programs which are designed to fulfill our multi-layered wrap around service approach.
Stage 1: Daycare – The Cherub’s Inn daycare opened in 2022 with two objectives: first, to provide childcare for children of Cherub’s Inn Maternity House; and second, to meet the childcare needs of the wider community. Any surplus funds from this initiative are used to subsidize the Maternity House’s programs and services.
Stage 2: Maternity House – 2024 Cherub’s Inn opened its doors and serve the Mission and surrounding Fraser Valley area. We provide safe and secure housing for women and their little ones. Through this program, women will not only secure housing, but will also have access to medical care, counseling, education, and workforce training resources during their residency. Our objectives through this program are to advance education, promote and improve health, and facilitate emotional growth.
Stage 3: Special Infant Nursery (future expansion plan) – that will offer temporary care for babies whose mothers need additional time to stabilize before assuming full parental responsibility.
