BC Women’s Health Foundation is BC’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the full spectrum of women’s and newborn health. We ensure women have equitable access to the highest quality healthcare when, where, and how they need it. Through support of groundbreaking care at BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre (BCWH) and transformative research initiatives at Women’s Health Research Institute (WHRI).

BC Women’s Health Foundation proudly supports both BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre (BCWH) & Women’s Health Research Institute (WHRI). Together we are championing life-changing care and research in women’s and newborn health.
BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre (BCWH) is the provincial centre for women’s health, treating over 80,000 patients and caring for more than 7,000 babies annually across 60 specialized clinics and programs, including but no limited to: Medical Genetics, Gynecology, Chronic Pelvic Pain, Reproductive Health, Heart and Breast Health, Chronic Complex Diseases, Mature Women’s Health, Perinatal Care.
Women’s Health Research Institute (WHRI) was established by BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre to enhance and galvanize the impact of women’s health research conducted at BC Women’s Hospital and throughout BC. WHRI is devoted to improving the health and health care of women through knowledge generation, serving as a catalyst for research in women’s health and supporting an expanding provincial and national network of women’s health researchers, policy makers and healthcare providers.
